Initially worn around the thigh, the first original pilot watch was large in diameter and featured large numbers to facilitate readability while in flight. ALTIGRAPH watches are a modern interpretation of these earlier timekeepers. By combining a sepia color palette, modern and sleek typefaces, and post WWI authentic photography, we were able to communicate both history and modernism.
